Start Here: The Real-Life Nervous System Reset
3-part blog series to help you go from super stressed to feeling more resilient and better able to cope as a busy nurse mom
If you’ve been feeling constantly overwhelmed, stressed, and snappy, you’re not the only one. I speak with so many nurses and moms who feel like they can’t keep coping with the stress of doing it all.
These are signs your body is telling you that your nervous system is unbalanced. You aren’t broken, you just need a few tools to help you get back to a more balanced and regulated place.
We do this work of balancing our nervous system and learning to manage our levels of stress so that we can:
feel calmer and less overwhelmed
have the capacity to pause and yell less, which better connects us to our kids
walk into work without anxiety
have more energy to do that thing you’ve been wanting to do for a long time
stop squishing down the hard emotions and learn to process what we’re feeling, which actually leads to feeling the good emotions even more
fall asleep more easily and stay asleep
find enjoyment in life
This series of posts walks you through the exact steps I took that shifted me from feeling absolutely drained and crying out for help, to actually feeling better.
Part 1: If You’re Always Stressed And Tired - Start Here
Part 2: The Hidden Stress Nurses And Moms Carry in Their Bodies

Go through the series at your own pace. Choose one thing to try to balance your nervous system. You are able to feel better and make changes to how things are going for you at this point in life.
